Bible Text: Zechariah 8:18-22

MESSAGE
God’s method of worldwide gathering of people into His Kingdom is to use His redeemed people to bring others into His saving grace. Our motivation for evangelizing distant and unreached people groups should include the interest to see God embraced through the worship and glorification of Him by people from all nations.
In today’s passage, God promised the Jews that times of trouble and weeping will be converted to joyous times of celebrations, and that many foreigners and strong nations will be converted, seek the will of the Lord and embrace the Gospel of Christ by the working of God’s saving grace.
It is the responsibility of those who have encountered Jesus to introduce Him to others and also encourage them to seek Him until a great tide of revival sweeps through all the people of the earth (vs. 22). Taking the Gospel of Jesus to all nations and bringing people to God’s fold is the core of Christ’s mandate to believers. Beloved, make missions and sharing God’s truth central in your life as a believer and you will enjoy the promise of God’s awesome presence till the end of life.
Insight: God’s method is to use His saved people to reach the unsaved and win them.
Prayer: Lord, I make myself available; use me to shine Your light to all those You bring my way.
