Topic: Fellowship with the Father through Prayer”
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Ephesians 6:18
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
As Christians, we ought to understand the significance and purpose of prayer. The scripture above is very profound, and it instructs us to pray at all times, on every occasion, and in every season, in the Spirit, with all manner of prayers.
Often, when we talk about prayer, what comes to people’s mind is asking God for things, such as cars, houses, marriage, breakthroughs, etc. Yes, such a prayer has its place, where you make requests, but there is more to prayer than just making requests.
MESSAGE
Prayer has higher purposes than just asking God for your needs. One of the purposes is what I am showing you today: prayer as fellowship with the Father through the Spirit. This is when your prayer is solely about fellowship.
This is living in the Father’s presence in continual fellowship through prayer. No one can walk in such extraordinary fellowship with the Father except by the Holy Spirit. It’s His ministry and delight to bring us into that place of constant and continual fellowship with the Father.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I walk in the revelation of Your Word to me today, teaching me to pray accurately, in accordance with your Word. Thank You, Lord, for showing me the right faith principles to apply for my prayers to produce the right results, in Jesus’ Name.
