It is very import that our days are spent in wisdom. Just because we are given the gift of time doesn’t mean that as time passes we are making the most of our destines. If Christ tarries two hundred years after now, there’s most probably maybe just a few people if at all that would still be alive.
And so it means that we are in the middle of a time frame that must be utilized with wisdom. God gave us 24hrs; the unit of destiny is time. That means that your entire life span is measured as a function of time. Everyday that passes it counts to your overall destiny and it matters that we are equipped with the knowledge that helps us to live lives that are effective and relevant.
Now, not everything in your life produces the same effect as far as your destiny is concerned. God gave us 24hrs and it’s full of several activities that can move us towards destiny but not all of them move us at the same level and not all of them carry the same gravity. One of the wrong perceptions that our generation has is that it allocates equal time and equal priority and equal interest to everything and anything.
Your time for play is equal to your time for prayer. Your time for gisting is equal to your time for personal development. There must be a system of prioritizing your life. It is important to know what is worth committing your energy, your time and your money.
Listen, at the end your life, there are only a few things that will make your life count. In the maze of several activities, clamouring for your attention.
The average young man is like a magnet attracting different things that need your attention in life. I have found out that at the end of your life, there are not more than four things that are worth living for.
So in your business, in your attempt to make money, many have children, serve God e.t.c. All of these are important but a time must come in your life where you have to ask, what is important. Because if you don’t know, you’ll major on the minor and the minor on the major.
