TOPIC: GOD’S SERVANTS SEALED
Bible Text: Revelation 7:1-8
“Do not harm the land or sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” Revelation 7:3, NIV
MESSAGE
One day I was travelling from Abuja to Bayelsa; when we got close to Edo, we received information of an ongoing armed robbery attack. Everyone was in a state of fear and panic, fleeing to safety. Then, we received news that the police engaged in an open fire with the robbers and they fled.
At the crime scene, we saw numerous bullet shells all over the road. We were exempted by God and journeyed safely to our destination. Today’s passage is an affirmation of God’s protection and preservation of those who belong to Him. The four winds of the earth restrained by the ministry of angels represent the spirit of error, trouble and mischief to the body of Christ that disrupts the activities of the Church.
God cares for His faithful servants. He seals us to distinguish us for safety, protection from pollution and preservation in times of dangerous temptation. God’s seal is His mark of protection, preservation, and ownership on His faithful servants. Beloved, because you belong to the living God, you are untouchable for the devil. There is a divine seal of exemption from all evils on your life.
Insight: To be sealed by God is to be safe and exempted from all evils.
Prayer: My household and I are exempted from all evils in Jesus’ name.
RBT Passage: John 11-12
