MESSAGE
Continuing with the survey of Abraham’s life as our prototype and pattern of faith, the comparison and contrast is made between trusting in the works that we do and trusting in the works that Jesus has done.
The key to Abraham’s faith in God rather than himself was the unwavering belief that God could do the impossible and would be faithful to any promise He has made. In the same way, when we trust that God raised Jesus from the dead and will raise us from the dead to be like Him and be with Him forever, we are trusting God to do the supernatural and impossible because we trust His Word.
Read vs.13-17 again. How did Abraham receive the promises of God? Abraham demonstrated faith in God and His promises. That demonstration made him able to believe that even his barren and old wife would bear him a son (vs.18-24). Having faith in God, like Abraham, is very important for our journey of life. We also need to trust God for our future and believe that He will do as He has promised.

THANK GOD FOR:► His faithfulness upon Lagos Region in keeping, preserving, protecting and providing for His people in such times as this.► The huge success of the 2022 Regional conference and the grace of God upon the Regional Chairman, R.C and their team.► Providing the Region with a new vehicle to enhance the kingdom work.
PRAY FOR:► Greater strength and grace upon the R.C – Evangelist Cosmos Uwem as he familiarizes with the Region and for successful execution of programmes.► More funds for the 2023 programmes and to complete the Regional school at Ijaba, Ogun State.► Achievement of their Regional goals, boosting numerical strength and creating new areas in the Region.
PRAY AGAINST:► All schemes of the enemy to cause the Region pain or loss in any way this year.► Disunity among leaders and the led in the Region.
