TOPC: REFUGE FOR THE OPPRESSED

 

Bible Reading: 1 Samuel 23:6-14

Memorise: “The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.” Psalms 9:9

MESSAGE

In the world today, there is so much evil but Gods protection over His children is the surest thing anyone can bank on. In our Bible reading for today, God delivered David from Saul who sought to kill him day and night for no reason. The One who delivered David is still God and He will continue to act as a refuge for His own.

There are many teenagers suffering from both physical and spiritual oppression in the hands of the devil, which has led to sorrow, dejection, stagnation, failure, backwardness et cetera in their lives. I pray for you today, that every one supervising your oppression will be destroyed by the fire of God, in Jesus name.

Psalms 91:1-2 says: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God, in him will I trust.” The Lord will be a refuge to you henceforth and evil will be far from you, in Jesus name.

 

Point: Lord, please be my refuge always, in Jesus name.
