TOPIC: VICTORY IN JESUS
Bible Text: 1 Corinthians 15:51-58
“But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our LORD Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57, NIV
Someone said that hell is not a horrible place as Christians portray, rather it is going to be a place filled with fun, because many entertainers and comedians will be there to make the place lively. This is one of the erroneous beliefs of people about eternity. The reality is that, when the trumpet sounds, only those that believe in Christ whether physically dead or alive are the ones who will be raised to be imperishable.
Anyone born of the flesh only is clothed with death, but those who are born of His Spirit and water (born again) have eternal life. They have passed from death to life. The victory of redemption through the LORD Jesus Christ belongs to them. Christ destroyed the power of death through His death and resurrection. He fought the battle on our behalf and He gave us the victory over death. We now have access to life through the victory of Christ on the cross.
The victory is only made available to anyone that believes in Him. If you are going to be free from the fear of death, give your life to Jesus today, and receive life eternal.
Insight: Christ won the victory over death once and for all, believe Him for the victory.
Prayer: Thank You LORD for giving me victory over death and the grave.
