MESSAGE
When we offer authentic worship, it forms, shapes, builds and transforms our lives. We must learn never to be distracted, discouraged or give up on God but praise Him wholeheartedly.
Today’s passage opens with the unjust arrest of Paul and Silas. As they sang hymns to God, He responded by shaking the foundations of the prison and breaking off every chain from their hands. This reveals that no force of hell can tie down real worshippers in bondage. Each act of worship connects us to God and we encounter His wonders. What authentic praise does is that it reframes the context of our lives so that we gain liberation from satanic confinements.
Singing wholeheartedly to God can rewrite the narrative; offer a brand new story; crush and terminate long time barriers and negative tendencies. For Paul and Silas, their condition of imprisonment, heaviness, and suppression was changed to that of joy and freedom through praise.
Beloved, are you experiencing unpleasant situations or foundational battles? If only you can sing to God, you shall see the mighty hands of God intervening in the affairs of your life. Never give up on God rather praise Him more than before.
Insight: Sing to God always. The benefits are numerous.
Prayer: Father, as I engage in authentic praise, may every negative experience turn around for my good.
