TOPIC: THE LORD IS ROBED IN MAJESTY
Bible Text: Psalm 93
“The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and is armed with strength. The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.” Psalm 93:1, NIV
MESSAGE
Queen Elizabeth is greatly recognized in England and around the world. She is very fashionable. Everything she wears has a significant meaning behind it.
She wears bright colored outfits so she can be easily spotted in every crowd. No other person in the royal family is allowed to wear the same color that the Queen of England wears when they attend the same function. If so much thought and attention is given to the appearance of an earthly royal personality, how much more majestic is the King of kings? The psalm we are considering today talks about the awesome nature of God. He is robed in majesty and also armed with strength. The world He created cannot be moved and His throne is established forever.
When we consider the majesty of God, it should spur us to reflect on how well we are representing Him on earth. We belong to God’s royal family and we must live to please Him. Check your life today, are there things that contradict your divine nature? Are there things you know God is not proud of? Ask Him for help today so that you can also display His majesty everywhere you go.
Insight: We are the reflection of God’s majesty on earth.
Prayer: Father, help me to represent You well on earth.
