Bible Text: Corinthians 2:10-11
Memory Verse: “These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:10, NIV
After his Junior WAEC examinations at school, Gbade was confused about the choice of the course to study in the University. Not until he went for counsel from a professional who eventually guided him did he have peace with himself that he was going in the right direction.
The Holy Spirit of God is the spirit of truth and He searches all things, even the deep things of God. He understands the mind of God and communicates same to us. Just as the thoughts of man can only be known by his own spirit, so also, the Holy Spirit of God knows and reveals the thought and the mind of God concerning us.
Therefore, we can trust Him totally for guidance or direction at all times on every issue of our lives.
We can depend on Him totally to make life’s decisions such as the choice of who to marry, course of study, job placement and every other issue no matter how difficult or simple it might appear. Trust in Him and obey His directions and instructions so as to attain victory in every facet of life.
Insight: The Holy Spirit knows everything both in heaven and on earth. Therefore, He has answers to all problems.
Prayer: O Lord, help me to know your will over every issues of my life, to hear and listen to the Holy Spirit for guidance at all times.
