SEEK DAILY (NBC) DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY BAPTIST OCTOBER 14, 2021 (DELIVERED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST)
TOPIC: DELIVERED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST
Bible Text: Ephesians 1:3-14
“In Him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, by the riches of God’s grace.” Ephesians 1:7, NIV
Jane came from a broken home and was abused sexually while growing up. She could not tell anyone about her experience but saw a vision of Jesus who assured her of redemption and restoration. After the experience, Jane believed Jesus for salvation. God blessed her home and she became useful for God.
We are chosen by God and consecrated for His glory through Jesus Christ. This came by the redemption through the shedding of His blood, forgiveness of sins and revelation of His might.
The inclusion into these blessings came as a result of the message of truth preached and received. It also entails the mark of ownership through the promised Holy Spirit and being blessed with every spiritual blessing.
The best miracle that can happen to a man is the miracle of salvation. Salvation is not by works of righteousness, for without the shedding of blood; there cannot be remission for sin.
As we come to God through repentance, humility and prayer, we are enabled to call upon God and receive God’s power of deliverance through Jesus Christ not through any other person or thing. Call on Christ for deliverance in every area today.
Insight: “The goal is not to be delivered from your problem only, but to be an instrument of God” – Sunday Adelaja.
