TOPIC: THE DREAMER TURNED DREAM INTERPRETER

OPENING PRAYER: My dear heavenly Father, as I study your word, let it be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

SCRIPTURE: Genesis 40:1‐23

 MESSAGE

Many of us grumble, complain and get angry when in trouble or when treated unjustly. How did Joseph respond? He maintained his faith in God, attended diligently to his responsibilities and cared for others. His concern for others and his faith in God made him a useful vessel (vs. 6‐8).

Dreams may come to men, but it is God who grants interpretation and Joseph did not overlook that. He gave the glory wholly to God. He was faithful in giving the interpretation of each person’s dream. Sometimes we want to soften the blow by using pleasant words.

But no, we should give God’s message as it stands without looking at the people’s status or situations. Despite ministering to people, some can be very ungrateful! When we think they will remember us, they ignore or totally forget us. Joseph had to learn to trust in God only.

Do we ever forget those who have ministered to us, and organizations like Scripture Union that ministered to us while in school? Thank God that his time of rewarding will come.

THANK GOD FOR:
☀ The eyes of the Lord that runs back and forth throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of them whose heart is perfect towards Him. 2 Chronicles 16:4
☀ The Blessings God has reserved for His children who delight in His law and look up to Him for provision.
☀ The Goodness and mercy of the Lord He provides as we hide in the shadow of His Love.

PRAY FOR:
☛ Increased trust in our God as He instructs and guide us in this end time.
☛ Deliverance for God’ s children as we look up to Him as commanded by Him.
☛ Grace to continue to take God as our only sun and shield who gives grace and glory.

PRAY AGAINST:
⚠ Fretting because of the apparent success by wicked people.
⚠ Failing to trust and obey God when things go wrong.
