Topic: What Do You Seek?
Memorise
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33
Read: Ecclesiastes 5:10-12
He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.
When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding of them with their eyes?
The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.
Message
When Elijah approached Elisha to be his servant, Elisha then was a vibrant youth. He left all, severed all links with his past and followed his master. Though Elisha inherited riches from his father, he preferred to serve God fervently to the point that after his death, his bones raised the dead.
Beloved, if your parents are wealthy, congratulations but if you have Jesus, double congratulations. Whoever has Christ, has everything including wealth because according to our memory verse for today, if you seek the kingdom of God, every other thing including success, greatness, wealth, et cetera will be yours.
So, serve God while you are young with the whole of your might, talent, gifts and resources like Elisha instead of thinking of how to get the latest phone or a trending outfit.Gods word cannot change. God will never lie about His promises. Seek the Lord and every other thing shall be yours henceforth.
Key Point
What you seek today will determine your place tomorrow.

Hymns: I can hear my Savior calling
I can hear my Savior calling,
I can hear my Savior calling,
I can hear my Savior calling,
“Take thy cross and follow, follow
Me.
CHORUS
Where He leads me I will follow,
Where He leads me I will follow,
Where He leads me I will follow,
I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.
I’ll go with Him
through the garden,
I’ll go with Him
through the garden,
I’ll go with Him
through the garden,
I’ll go with Him, with
Him all the way.
I’ll go with Him through
the judgment,
I’ll go with Him through
the judgment,
I’ll go with Him through
the judgment,
I’ll go with Him, with Him
all the way.
He will give me
grace and glory,
He will give me
grace and glory,
He will give me
grace and glory,
And go with me, with me all
the way.
