MAN DIDN’T RECONCILE WITH GOD,GOD RECONCILED WITH MAN BY FAITH OYITA IROEGBU APRIL 2023 FREE
OVERVIEW
Religion says you are the scum if the earth, amend your ways and reconcile with God, otherwise you perish. They teach repent or burn. They load man with the grievous burden of seeking and reconciling with God. However, that’s never the gospel of Christ, the gospel is the GoodNews of what God had done in Christ, the reconciliation he made with man through Christ.
Man is not the one going towards God, God came and is yet coming towards man through the gospel of Christ. Man is not seeking for God, God seeked and still seek for man through the gospel.
Reconciliation is not man’s obligation towards God, it is God’s work towards man. God reconciled himself to man, now, the work of man is to accept or receive the reconciliation God made in Christ with man.
Romans 5:10
[10]For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
You see that, the death of Christ was a tool God utilized for the reconciliation of mankind to himself. God reconciled himself to man through the death of Jesus Christ.
The reconciliation was done by God through the death of Christ long ago. Man is to only receive and accept God’s reconciliation in the gospel.
That passage said “Reconciled” meaning, it is long done, dusted and a concluded deal.
2 Corinthians 5:18
[18]Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
The new creature in Christ is Reconciled to God. When a man accepts the gospel, he accepted the reconciliation God made in Christ Jesus through his death.
Therefore, the gospel is the preaching of the reconciliation God made in Christ Jesus with man, it is the GoodNews of the peace God made with man in Christ.
What he did for man’s consummation. Since God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself through his death, man is not reconciling with God.
God Reconciled with man long ago in the death of his christ. Man’s work is to receive the reconciliation God made through the gospel of Jesus Christ, the son of his love. Amen !
GoodNews all have peace with God in Christ, also we come boldly to the throne of grace through the blood of the new covenant in Christ. Glory to God !
