TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 5:13
For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe…”
MESSAGE
Righteousness is the nature of God that was imparted into your spirit when you got born again. It gives you the ability to stand in the presence of God without any sense of guilt, condemnation or inferiority. This is called right-standing.
This is important for you to know because the quality of your life depends on your understanding of your righteousness in Christ. Your faith can never go beyond your understanding of righteousness. The scripture above shows us that those who still use milk are regarded as spiritual babies.
To spiritual babes we can say, “God is going to heal you.” Although this may be true, it’s only for those that are unskilled in the Word of righteousness. The spiritually mature know better; they live in divine health. They are not “waiting” on God for healing. They are not begging God for healing.
They know how to use the Word and live in the Word. They use the Word to subdue circumstances, and they prevail against all adversities. It is imperative that you grow in the Word! Be a skilful word practitioner, rightly dividing the Word of Truth!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I decree and I declare that with each and every day, I am growing in the Word of God. The Word of God is producing excellence and glory. I’m positioned for the triumphant life through the Word. I am a Word practitioner in Jesus’ Name.
