TOPIC: HEARING GOD VOICE THROUGH HIS WORD

SCRIPTURE: The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters. Psalms 29:3.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Word of God is the surest way of hearing God.

MESSAGE
It has been established that the Voice of God is key to greatness in life. To hear God correctly is to attain great heights in life.

Now, one key to hearing the Voice of God is accessing the treasures of the Word of God.

The Word of God connects you to the voice of God.
Psalms 29:3 says,
The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters.

So, if you want to hear the Voice of the Lord, look for the water, and what is the water?

Ephesians 5:26 gives us the answer: That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Beloved, the easiest way to hear God is through His Word. The Word is the surest way of hearing God. You can familiarize yourself with the Voice of God through the Word of God. When you hear His Voice from the Word, you can recognize it outside the Word. This is because who you would marry, or where you would work is not expressly written in the Word of God, but when you hear His Voice from His Word, you can recognise it outside the Word.

Inside the verse, there is a Voice and when you are familiar with the Voice in the verse, you can hear the Voice outside the verse wherever you are – in the bus, market place, kitchen, etc.

REMEMBER THIS: The Word is the surest way of hearing God.

ASSIGNMENTS:
1. Make up your mind to familiarize yourself with the Word of God by studying it always.
2. Obey the instructions from the Word. Do the Word.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to both read and obey Your Word Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
