CHANNELS OF FULLFILLMENT DEVOTIONAL FOR FEBUARY 8, 2022 (COME AND SEE)
TOPIC: Come see!
TEXT: (Psalm 66 vs. 1-7), (John 1 vs. 46) I welcome you to the cloud of the one who has not hidden himself from men! Jehovah Jerieh. A popular song says, “Come and see, come and see, come and see what the Lord has done, come and see what the Lord has done”. Go ahead and sing that song; sing it with the eyes of faith, see that which you are hopping on Him to have done already.
I am reminded of a popular quote from Confucius who said, “It does not matter how slow you go as long as you do not stop.” Also I think Ellen White spoke God’s mind for today saying, “Worry is blind and cannot discern the future, but Jesus see the end from the beginning. In every difficulty He has His way prepared to bring relief”. You are not hopping for the impossible but you are trusting God for what is achievable and discoverable.
From today’s scripture verse 5 it says, “Come and see the work of God, He is awesome in His doing towards the sons of men”. Who is the one invited and who is the bearer of the evidence of His work? Anywhere you are, can you announce to people around: “Come and see what God has done in my life, this year and this season.” I don’t know what your believe might be but I know with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Revelation 10 vs. 10).
Salvation is the process of being rid of the old poor quality conditions and becoming improved (Dictionary defined). Whatever your mouth can contain God will allow. Years ago in a camping meeting I was praying and trusting God to pass my post-utme exam into the university. During my prayer session I discovered some team of persons joined me; of course they brought so many personal requests to be prayed for and the next morning we heard testimonies concerning those request.
I that happened to be the prayer director in that process was called to be notified of my failure in the exam, I was weakened, devastated, and frustrated though I spoke to no man, I went into the church and cried to God, he gave me a word. For the first time in my life I heard God mention that verse to me which I know not the content then saying, “behold I will do a new thing; then I called back the person who called me and said God said I will do a new thing. Surely new things have happened since then..
PRAYER:
- Pray for your blessings and upliftment.
- Jesus, arise and do for me what no one else could do.
