TOPIC: Ask the source.
Text: (Psalm 8 vs. 4-6), (Deuteronomy 4 vs. 6-9)
There is a source of everything, of course there is a source of life, source of peace, source of wealth, and source of all things. Today I welcome you to the sanctuary of He who owns all things; Jehovah Elion. It is in the idea of few that God is the source of all things. Not many also has gotten to the understanding of how infinite and powerful He is. Digest verse 7 of today’s second scripture which says, “For what nation is there so great who hath God so nigh unto them, as the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon him for?”
Note: As the Lord our God is in all things that we call upon Him for. God is in all things… there is no limit to prayers, there is nothing which prayers cannot handle. Prayer does everything. It changes a concluded matter, changes a conversation, arrest without weapons, provide in the desert. Prayer is the only letter God reads. Praises and worship are the only music He dances. Producing result in everything/ area of life, one needs to be so nigh to God.
Nearness is the reason behind farness from calamity. The nearer you are to God the more responsive and active He is to you. It is part of the characteristic of the kingdom to ask the source for things. One day I lost money, on realising that the money was missing, I prayed saying, “Before the end of today, I recover this money into my hands in Jesus name, Amen!
OF course that same day around 6:00pm that same day, I was somewhere for lecture and an individual came to me and handed over the same amount to me. Asking the source at everything is a process one develops when his confidence in God has grown so big. Faith is expressed by how free and less worried you are after prayers knowing that what you asked for will certainly entre your hand. Jesus emphasising on this mentioned in (Mark 11 vs. 24) saying,
“Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when you pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” The source of all things is ever ready to react based on your believe point.
“He who believe is strong; he who doubts is weak, strong conviction precedes great actions”. (Louisa May Alcott). In today’s first scripture it was announced that you and I have authority over all things. Ask the source, believe to receive and boom you are having it already.
