TOPIC : TRUSTING GOD FOR YOUR LIFTING 2
Text: (Psalm 20 vs. 1 – 7)
There are times that going forward could not be considered as the best option but you still have to move forward because in moving forward that is where the blessing is. Standing at the place of suppression and limitation brings no good to you or anyone else. Just take your walk and stand with God in all things and at all times. In continuation of the story we saw yesterday shortly after my meal was served by 6 waiters. Unknown to me, the owner of the hotel (who happened to be an old long lost friend of mine) saw me when I entered and decided to surprise me. She changed my simple meal to a five-star meal. The party of the other table were shocked. They couldn’t stop starring. Suddenly they were the ones mourning, asking why they couldn’t get that kind of service and meal. Such is life! Some people are ahead of you and are eating now, laughing at you and talking about how they are smarter, wiser and better than you, how they are well connected, blessed, have money and are enjoying life. You waiting tirelessly wondering why it’s taking so long to breakthrough, you endure mockery and humiliation. To trust God is a risk but not to trust him at all is the greatest of all risks. Someone needs to trust God over that situation that looks unfavourable. Someone needs to trust God amidst of the challenges of the pressuring situation. Many times I don’t know what to do but I do trust in the Lord. Verse 7 of today’s scripture says, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the Lord our God. We will remember the name of our God. Oh Lord, remembering your name fuses confidence in me at all times.

- Oh God, I thank you for your word to me.
- Father, I receive the grace to trust you at all times in Jesus name, Amen!
- Father, I receive the grace to love and rely on you.
