TOPIC: A BALANCED MIND
TEXT: PSALM 81 VS. 1-10
Message
It take the state of mind to determine the rate of action. “There are some music you will dance only by pointing your toe to the ground… and such music is played by life when you want to stand taller above your vision barriers”. (Isaac Chidolue). You cannot win with an imbalanced mind or attention.
Every man meets a challenge; meaning there is a plan a man places on his future which is more or less above his power. No one does impact unless he has the capacity to live above his challenge. Some months ago in Chicago (where temperatures were colder than Antarctica), Miss. Payne decided to use her own debit card to rent 30 hotel room to shelter local homeless people from the freezing cold. Upon hearing of her good deed, others pitched in to help, and she was able to secure 72 rooms for five nights, providing refuge for 122 people. Candice Payne is just 34 years.
In a time like this God is looking for those that can impact lives. He is waiting for those that will stand upright to bring the change that has not been. Ask Jesus for the grace to see how to help others, how to fix others and how to touch their lives. Nothing given is not received. To maintain a constant level of supplies the individual should practice a constant level of giving (Luke 6 vs. 38) because seed time and harvest shall not cease (Genesis 8 vs. 22).
Today pray for Pastors; yes your Pastor in particular. Find someone in need and help; give out a little of what you expect to receive. This is an instruction that should abide this month (don’t forget). Even those that are yet to get COF should carry it out. It is straight and plain, a balanced mind is found during the dance of success.
Digest verse 6 of today’s scripture: “I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots.” Whatever your challenge is: may the Lord remove burdens from your shoulder. Burdens are lifted today. Worries are arrested. Amen!
Prayer Points:
1. Jesus, give me grace to stand out for you at all times.;
2. Help me to be like you, give out like you do.
3. My God may I possess the right mind-set in all things.
4. I reject and refuse any form of intimidation from the enemy.
