MESSAGE
The heart of men is the place of life. The more secured your heart is, the more your life will be. You are not far from how you think. There are individuals whose lives are ugly, not because God cannot make it beautiful even though they are in God but simply because their thought have accepted the ugly place of life, hence they dwell in that very sphere of existence. What do you say about someone who has agreed to fail in life, someone who is not expecting anything great from life? Someone who is not ‘in’ for any destiny transforming news, yes, someone who continuously dwells in the terror of evil and wickedness, surprisingly it happens that way to them. “I reflexly developed this unconscious attitude of shunning the devil. I can’t count the number of times I say shut up satan”. Responding to an improper thought that generates from my mind.
Cripple the devil from the thought bank. Negligence of this have led to so many
disasters in the lives of those that are involved; disasters that one wouldn’t ordinary want to adapt to. Let go of that thought that tells you, yes, you will still remain the same person before the year runs out. Let go of that impression that tells you that the relationship you are into will fail like others. Let go of those thoughts that someone whom God has sent into your life to help you came to steal your destiny. This reminds me of the story about a man who was drowning in water and a boat came by and said,
“Do you need any help?” He said, “No, thank you, God will save me”. Then another boat came by and said, “Do you need any help?” and he said, “No, thank you, God will save me”. Then he drowned, and he went to heaven and he said, “God, why didn’t you save me?”
And God said, “I sent you two big boats, you dummy”. Negative thinking switches people out of God’s plan. Imagine someone who should attend university when he should and a thought tells him, in Nigeria today graduates are poor. Poverty has nothing to do with wisdom and knowledge. Finally digest verse 23 of today’s scripture saying, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life”.
