Topic: Wasteful?
Memorize
And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.
Daniel 6:2
Read: Daniel 6:1-4
It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;
And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.
Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.
Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
Message
Any true child will manage the resources at his or her disposal so as to prevent any loss or damage. For instance, Daniel was a slave from Judah who rose to the position of President in Babylon due to his right attitude towards God, humans and things committed into his hands.
In Daniel 1:8 , he respectfully rejected the kings delicacy and requested just bread, vegetables and water; after ten days, he looked ten times better than his co-captives.
Some teenagers may have wasted the meal either by eating little or refusing to eat after being served.If you waste resources such as food, water, raw materials, time, energy et-cetera, you are not a good ambassador of Christ.
Remember, in Matthew 14:13-21 ,Jesus commanded the disciples to gather the remnant of the food This shows that God is against any form of wastage. If you are in possession of what you don’t need, rather than waste it, give it out.

List out 5 things that are being wasted in your house and take practical steps to stop the waste.

Hymns: Christian, seek not yet repose
Christian, seek not yet repose,
Hear thy guardian angel say,
“Thou art in the midst of foes:
Watch and pray!
Principalities and powers,
Mustering their unseen array,
Wait for thine unguarded hours:
“Watch and pray!
Gird thy heavenly armour on,
Wear it every night and day,
Ambushed lies the evil one:
“Watch and pray!
Hear the victors
who overcame;
Still they mark each
warrior’s way,
All with one sweet
voice exclaim,
“Watch and pray!
Hear, above all, hear thy Lord,
Him thou lovest to obey;
Hide within thy heart
His word,
“Watch and pray!
Watch, as if on that alone
Hung the issue of the day;
Pray, that help may
be sent down:
“Watch and pray!”
