Topic: *THE LEAST THAT RULE THE BEST.*
*Read I Corinthians 1:26-31*
*MEMORISE: So he said to Him, O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house’ (Judges 6:15)*
*EXPOSITION*
The least that rule the best is ironical. It is illogical to human understanding. The least are not expected to rule the best. Like a saying – “one with God is a majority”. The least in God’s hand is better than any best. It is explicitly written in the scriptures that “but LORD, Gideon replied, how can I rescue Israel? My clan is the weakest in the whole tribe of Manasseh, and I am the least in my entire family”.
For your least to rule the best, you need the backing and support of God. The Lord said to Gideon, I will be with you and you will destroy the Midianites as if you are fighting against one man. God made him a “Superman” He can do same with you. Position yourself for it. What a great boost, encouragement and confidence to a jittering man. God guaranteed and gave him strength for the battle. When God is in the picture, weakness and limitations become irrelevant. They are not factors to be considered but God. Try and see beyond yourself but God in the situation *(Judges 6:15,16)*.
Some people are termed the best because of certain circumstances while others are seen to be less important due to the same reason. Circumstance do not define person, but your responses and ability (on God) to excel during such period defines your personality. Over the years, many who are termed the less important have proved to be the best.
Saul’s lineage was the least in Israel, yet God chose him above others. Jephthah, a bastard, later became the family head. It gladdens to know that your generation awaits your manifestation. You have the potential to rule your generation. Let God into your life and experience His limitlessness.
*PRAYER POINTS:*
1. Father, please turn my weaknesses into strengths, so that I will influence my generation positively.
2. Let Your favour come upon me O Lord, so that I will be relevant in every of my endeavour earth.
3. God, rid off everyone in the position of authority in our nation that refuses to fulfill Your purpose in the position they occupy.
