MESSAGE
Fear is an enemy that paralyses a persons potential to achieve greatness. It deceives its victim into magnifying a challenging situation above God. Fear is one tool the enemy finds most useful in making the children of God suffer failure, pain and destruction of destiny. Often times, people don’t know that Satan blows things out of proportion just to make them afraid.
While there are some really terrifying situations that can throw one off balance, God still tells us not to be afraid as long as He’s with us. Thus, rather than stay afraid, face your fear by rebuking it. Also, do the exact thing you fear; for instance, if you are afraid of the dark, lock yourself in a dark room and silence fear.
If you’re afraid of writing an exam, prepare for it and write it knowing that Gods word says: “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10 When you face fear headlong with God on your side, it will flee.
Point: God has not given you the spirit of fear, so rebuke it.
