GOODNEWS DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR FEBRUARY 26, 2022 (MOVE-IN DAY)
Scripture: Psalm 91:9
Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation.
MESSAGE
I want you to imagine that a dream house was purchased for you in the best neighbourhood on the best parcel of land. All the taxes are paid for a lifetime, and all the utilities and maintenance costs are taken care of. The title deed is in your name, and you do not need to do anything except move in. The house belongs to you, and you belong to it. Your address has changed. But even though your address has changed, you must take ownership of your new location.
You start by receiving the key, and then in all of your affairs, you begin to establish that you have a new address. Your entire mindset changes to line up with the reality that you now reside in a different location. When you were born again, you were given the title deed, free and clear, to the most premium real estate in the spiritual realm. It is not just a dream house; it is a fully furnished mansion. Everything you could ever desire is in there. There are no taxes or bills to pay, and every utility is included. That real estate is Christ. All you need to do now is take ownership of your new residence.
The scripture says it this way, “you have made the Lord … your habitation.” The habitation is given to you, but you must make it yours. How do you do that? Faith is the title deed, and the Word is the key. Benefiting from your new location is predicated on you staying in the Word and establishing that Christ is your habitation. Tell yourself every day that your address has changed. You still have a temporary physical address in this world, but you live in a mansion called Christ. When bills and anything that concerns you arrive at your old address, forward them to your new address.
The devil may try to deliver sickness, failure, and poverty at your old house, but those things are not permitted in your new location. Refuse them. Remind yourself every day that you live in Christ, and make the Lord your habitation.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Christ is my address. I can never be in trouble because He is my habitation. Sickness, poverty, and defeat cannot find me in my new location, and no evil can touch me here. My value is increased by virtue of my location, and nothing about my life will ever depreciate.
