SEEK DAILY (NBC) DAILY DEVOTIONAL November 7, 2021 (MULTITUDES PRAISE GOD)
TOPIC: MULTITUDES PRAISE GOD
Text: Revelation 7:9-17
“…A great multitude that no one could count from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.”
MESSAGE
Revelation 7:9, NIV Central to the Scripture’s teaching on mission, is God’s salvific agenda as revealed in the once-and-for-all redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross. This perfect sacrifice should attract the response of people from all nations to worship Him in truth and in Spirit.
Today’s text paints a broad picture of God’s Kingdom’s worldwide redemptive agenda, drawing the response and worship of people from every nation, tribe, and language of the earth. John saw multitudes of people from every nation, tribe, people and language standing before God the Father and the Son. They were clothed with white robes of justification, holiness and righteous triumph in Christ. They praised the Father and the Son for the gift of salvation which the Father offered and the Son purchased with His blood.
Beloved, for you to offer acceptable worship to God before His throne, you must belong to Him, and not be a sinner. The Father offered salvation to mankind, and Jesus Christ purchased it with His redemptive blood. Accept His gift of salvation this day and be saved. Be a voice for Him so that through you others can come to praise Him.
Insight: The New Jerusalem worship will feature ethnical and linguistic diversities. Be part of this great plan.
Prayer: Lord, may there be a massive ingathering of souls into Your Kingdom this season.
